Nestled in the quaint Village of Gilberstville, The Major's Inn is a prominent anchor in the Gilbert Block.  This circa 1897 55 room Inn reflects the medieval English Tudor and Gothic architectural styles. During an event, guests enjoy dinning and dancing in the Grand Ballroom, walking the courtyard or relaxing on one of the many porches. For the Bride and Groom, gracious sittings rooms located on the second level offer a private retreat to dress, exchange a moment or allow your guests to savor time with loved ones. 

Even if you prepare your banquent yourself or hire a caterer, our fully stocked commercial kitchen, coolers and preparation area is available for your use. Your rental also includes tables and chairs and our standard tableware. For your convenience, the Major's Inn is open the day before your event for set up and the day after (until noon) for clean up. Whether a grand celebration on the lawn or an intimate gathering in the Ballroom, The Major's Inn will be a unique backdrop for your special day.
