Our fully stocked commercial kitchen makes it easy for you or your caterer to cook and prepare dinner. Whether it's a simple gathering on the lawn or a formal evening in the Grand Ballroom, you are in full control of your event. We are available to assist you. Weddings- The Major's Inn knows your big day takes a lot of planning. Our rental covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday to give you enough time to prepare for your event. The 3 day rental fee is $2200 with a $400 refundable booking/security deposit.

One-Day Event*- Sometimes you just need a few hours to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary. Our new one day rental fee is $600 with a $400 refundable booking/security deposit. (* Does Not Include use of Kitchen- additional $200, No additional days)

Local School Events/Proms- We strongly support our local schools and have reduced the cost for student events to $800 rental fee with a refundable $400 booking/security deposit. The rental covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday to give you enough time to prepare for your event.

Celebration of Life- At the Major's Inn Foundation we understand the sorrow of losing a loved one. The rental of the Inn is provided to families for a donation of your choice.

From engagement parties to rehearsals to ceremonies and receptions, and school proms our historic venue will help to realize your dreams. The beautiful architecture and lush grounds of The Major's Inn provide a perfect backdrop for your photos and guests to enjoy.
Events
The Major's Inn holds many community events throughout the year. These events help fund the continued restoration efforts by the Foundation. The years events begin with the arrival of the Morris Men in April and end with the Christmas Bazaar in November. The Summer Concert series and Annual Quilt Show round out the year.
Parties & Celebrations
Located in historic downtown Gilbertsille, NY we offer a unique venue and reception space for luncheons, bridal or baby showers, business meetings, corporate dinners, professional association meetings, retirement parties, holiday parties, birthday parties, and anniversary parties.
